Deep FSC expertise shouldn't be reserved for enterprises with $10M implementation budgets. That's the problem we're here to solve.

Where we came from

TechCivitas was built after watching the same FSC implementation mistakes happen over and over — across banks in the US, Caribbean, and LATAM. Different institutions, different SIs, different budgets. Same mistakes.

The pattern was consistent: an SI would scope the project, win the deal, and then spend the implementation building custom solutions for problems that FSC already solved out of the box. Clients would go live on time and on budget — and within 18 months, they'd be drowning in maintenance overhead, wondering why adoption was low and costs were rising.

The root cause wasn't incompetence. It was incentive misalignment. SIs make money by building. Configuring an OOB feature for one day is less revenue than building a custom equivalent for two weeks. The client pays either way — except the custom build costs them forever.

TechCivitas exists to correct that. We sit on the client side of the table. Our job is to ensure that every FSC feature that's already paid for gets properly evaluated before custom work is scoped. That FSC's native capabilities — ARC, Interaction Summaries, Referral OOB, the Financial Account data model — get configured the way they were designed, not replaced by Apex.

How we work

Free advisory first

Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute conversation. We only take on paid work when the fit is clear — when we genuinely believe we can deliver specific, measurable value to your FSC implementation.

Configuration over customization

We assess every OOB FSC feature before recommending custom development. This isn't dogma — sometimes custom is right. But the default should be native, and the burden of proof is on custom.

Specific, not vague

Our deliverables are concrete: a feature utilization map, a sharing model architecture, a technical debt score. Not slide decks full of generic Salesforce advice. If we can't be specific, we say so.

FSC-only, for now

For at least the first 12 months of the company, we work on nothing but Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. Depth beats breadth in a specialized market.

Faceless brand, named advisor

TechCivitas is a company name, not a personal brand. But the advisor who takes your call is a named, accountable person with FSC expertise. We operate with accountability without ego.

Geography with context

US, Caribbean, and LATAM banks operate in different regulatory environments with different integration ecosystems. We don't apply a US-centric FSC template to a Caribbean bank.

The name

“Make Technology Accessible”

Civitas — from the Latin for community, citizenship, the shared life of a city. We named this company after the idea that powerful technology should serve the community it's deployed in — not exist as a monument to its builders.

A mid-size bank in the Caribbean should have access to the same FSC implementation quality as a top-10 US bank. That's not a marketing line. It's the reason we price advisory the way we do, offer free calls before any paid engagement, and build tools that automate what used to require a six-figure SI engagement.
